Chairman of the Technical Committee for Chess in Homs, Mahmoud Rabei, said in a statement to the SANA Sports Bulletin that the tournament witnessed a competitive atmosphere and high enthusiasm, and the aim of holding it was to select the Homs team for those age groups for males and females to participate in the Republic Championship that will be held on the seventeenth of this month in Lattakia, adding that it took place.
