The attack occurred this Tuesday around 3:30 p.m. in Belgrano and caused surprise, in an area that is not characterized by being the scene of violent events.

Martínez was approached when he was parking his white BMW 440i Cabrio in the garage of his house in Arribeños at 1400. The bullet went through both Martinez's cheeks, who was taken to the Pirovano Hospital.

Then he was referred to the La Trinidad sanatorium, where this Wednesday he is recovering out of danger, according to sources from the Buenos Aires government health area.

Although the first hypothesis of the investigators was that of an alleged homicide attempt for some personal matter, since it was thought that the shooter went directly to kill, in the last hours the detectives of the 13A police station of the City Police managed to

a video that recorded the sequence head-on and changed the focus of the investigation.

In the search of that security camera in the victim's own building, on Calle Arribeños at 1400, it is observed that Martínez arrived at the access ramp to the garage with his BMW at 3:28 p.m. and stopped to activate the closing of the sliding roof. .

At that moment, and in an action that lasts seven seconds, an armed criminal surprised Martínez from the driver's side and fired at him, after which a brief struggle was observed and the shooter escaped after firing a shot.

The incident had a direct witness who assured that the shooter arrived and fled on a motorcycle driven by another man, while the Scientific Police worked on Martínez's vehicle in search of traces and evidence. The agents from the 13A police station also seized a .38 caliber revolver that the victim was carrying at the time of the incident but did not use it, and a briefcase with documentation.
