pilot pharmacies
” are experimenting with this new procedure which should make it possible to massify the vaccination campaign.
Concretely, 20 Breton pharmacies - that is to say five per department - have already started to vaccinate.
Located in Saint-Brieuc, Brest, Vannes and Rennes, they "
meet the requirements of training and premises with suitable spaces
," said the Brittany Regional Health Agency.

In total, 450 doses of vaccine will have to be administered this week by pharmacists, who themselves offer these injections to eligible patients.
That is, people over the age of 75 and people aged 50 to 74 who present with co-morbidities.

Expanded vaccination from March 15
Asked by Ouest France, François Tran, pharmacist and head of the Kerangal pharmacy in Rennes, explains: “
we plan the afternoons of ten vaccinations approximately, spread over six hours.
Because normally, the vaccine vial should be used within six hours.
François Tran directly called the patients he considered eligible for vaccination in this pilot phase.

For other patients who would like to be vaccinated in a pharmacy, it is already possible to make an appointment online, on the Covid-Pharma website, by phone or on site.
Because the pilot phase ended, all pharmacies will be authorized to vaccinate.
They had the possibility of ordering doses between Monday March 8 and Wednesday March 10, for a reception next week of doses of the AstraZeneca formula mainly.
