The public prosecutor announced the opening of a judicial investigation against the teenage couple suspected of having ambushed Alisha before hitting her and throwing her in the Seine.

The two 15-year-old adolescents - a young man and his girlfriend - implicated in the death of the young Alisha, 14, on Monday in Argenteuil (Val-d'Oise)

"were

referred for the opening of a judicial information for facts of assassination

with requisition of a warrant of committal ”

, announced Wednesday the prosecutor of the Republic of Pontoise, Eric Corbaux.

The premeditation was therefore retained by the prosecution in this case involving three young people educated in the third class, within the same establishment, since September 2020. The prosecutor referred to exchanges of SMS

"for several weeks"

between the young man and his girlfriend in which they were talking about

"something to do"

with the victim.

Why such an outburst of violence?

At the request of her boyfriend, the young girl would have made an appointment with Alisha, Monday afternoon at Argenteuil station.

The two young girls then went to the Quai Saint-Denis, where they used to meet.

After a few minutes of discussion,

"the young man, who had remained hidden behind a pillar, would have approached the victim, would have given him by surprise blows in the face and would have made him a brush causing her to fall to the ground"

, detailed the prosecutor.

The two implicated did not express an immediate remorse

He also allegedly kicked her back and head while she was on the ground.

The victim, who was still conscious and moaning with open eyes, was then caught by the young man and his girlfriend before being thrown into the Seine, below the quay.

Based on forensic evidence, Eric Corbaux indicated that the victim had drowned.

During their police custody, the two accused did

not "express immediate remorse"

, he noted

Why such an outburst of violence?

The Pontoise prosecutor mentioned a succession of facts.

Before being in a relationship with his current girlfriend, the young man had a brief romance with the victim.

But the

"friendly"

relationship

that the two young girls had kept displeased the teenager, who would have been

"very dissatisfied"

with their good relationship.

He complained in particular that Alisha

"speaks badly"

about her father.

Relations are said to have deteriorated after a photo of the victim in her underwear was posted on Snapchat in February.

The photo in question would have been hacked on his account.

According to the prosecutor, the school would have been notified of this broadcast on February 5.

However, no complaint to the police station had been registered.

Subsequently, on March 1, a physical fight between the two young girls had broken out within the establishment.

For these facts, the young man and his girlfriend were subject to disciplinary proceedings.

They were currently excluded from the establishment due to their harassment of the victim, their high school said in a statement yesterday.

They were to pass in disciplinary council Tuesday, the day after the facts.

The two suspects being minors, they risk a maximum of 20 years in prison.

A white march in memory of the murdered schoolgirl will be held this weekend in Argenteuil.
