The performance of the Khatta Dance Theater Company under the title Room Sub-Zero was distinguished by its mixing of contemporary dance genres with expressionism with classicism in a synthesis that expressed the content of the novel Amber No. 6 by the Russian writer Anton Chekhov to make the viewer drawn between the theatrical event and expressive movements commensurate with the content of the text.

The idea of the work that was shown on the Al-Hamra Theater was for Isra Hussein. As for writing the text and directing it, it is by Saeed Al-Hinnawi, and he performed the main roles in the show, Muhammad Halabi, Muhammad Itoni, Tariq Rihawi, Raafat Ezz El-Din, Nour Saqr and Sham Al-Mulla Ali.

Artist Mohamed Halabi, the band's trainer and founder, explained to SANA that he carried out the cryograph process for the show, which is the art of recording dance movements, considering that the process of transforming the theatrical idea into expressive dance movements is a great responsibility that needs the coach to adopt the work and absorb it in the progression of the work and its events.

Halabi indicated that the merging of the idea he is working on in choreographic design with the movements and music has to do with the soul as long as you understand the general idea and the framework, and you can synthesize.

Al-Hinnawi, the director of the work, spoke in his turn that he sought to transform the novel into a theater behind the direction of experimentation to transform the spoken language into a body language without neglecting the written dialogue from the inside, as the dancing panels represent a side of the show that the recipient understands through expressive movements accompanying the music.

The work that takes place in a mental health facility tells, according to Al-Hinnawi, about the pressures and things that suppress a person at all levels of humanity, social, subjective and emotional, in addition to the generational differences between fathers and children, and outdated customs and traditions, and what you plant in terms of ignorance and backwardness, which resembles a hammer and a person is like a nail, pointing out that the text is inspired Of world literature is not a shame as long as it speaks of universally similar human concerns and uses them to serve our environment.

It is noteworthy that the Khatta Dance Theater Company was established in 2009, where it presented many performances inside and outside Syria, including Haratna and Sham, and won several awards at the local level.
