The Damascus governorate workshops carried out asphalting works for a number of streets in the city and its neighborhoods as part of its plan to improve the service situation and improve the road conditions.
During the past two days, the maintenance directorate's workshops carried out asphalting works in front of the "Abbasid Garage" launch center, in which a traffic solution is implemented, next to Al-Faiha Hospital in Al-Maidan and near the Al-Iman Mosque in Al-Mazraa and in Shakib Arslan Street in Abu Rummaneh, knitting factories in Al-Zablatani and Al-Qurumiya neighborhood near Al-Battikha roundabout at The entrance to the Yarmouk and alleys in the Al-Zuhour neighborhood in Zahira, in addition to the White Bridge, according to the director of maintenance in the governorate, Engineer Ismail Qatifani, in a statement to the SANA representative today.
Qatifani pointed out that the workshops of the Directorate of Services have carried out paving and restoration works with asphalt in Al-Hawash neighborhood in Damar, indicating that the amount of asphalt used in all areas was estimated at 600 tons.
