Kosovo will be the third country to open a full-scale embassy in Jerusalem.
Israel Today has learned that the ceremony will take place on Monday in central Jerusalem, in the presence of senior diplomats from both countries.
Yesterday, the Czech Republic inaugurated its embassy in the center of the capital in the presence of Foreign Minister Gabi Ashkenazi and Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babish.
In addition, a summit was held yesterday between Prime Minister Netanyahu and his colleagues from Hungary and the Czech Republic, Victor Urban and Andrei Babish.
Netanyahu praised the two countries' moves to open an official representative office in Jerusalem, saying: "We appreciate the fact that they have opened representations in Jerusalem and that they are also helping us on the international stage, as my true friends do."
The two European leaders have announced that they will examine the Israeli vaccination campaign and the steps taken by Prime Minister Netanyahu to implement it.
The Hungarian prime minister noted that despite the economic crisis that befell Israel and his country due to the epidemic, the volume of trade between them increased in 2020. "This is an expression of true friendship," Urban noted.
Meanwhile, at the invitation of the presidents of Germany, France and Austria, President Reuven Rivlin and Chief of Staff Aviv Kochavi will pay a quick visit this coming Tuesday, centered on a series of meetings on the threat of Hezbollah's intensification, the Iranian nuclear program and the Hague tribunal.
