Thursday, the CAC 40 has indeed risen to more than 6,000 points.
Since its low in March 2020, it has thus gained more than 60% and it has practically returned to its peak for the month of February 2020 at 6,100 points.
At more than 16,700 points, the CAC Gross Return, calculated as the German Dax reinvested dividend, is already at an all-time high.
Monetary policies, stimulus plans, hopes of an imminent exit from the crisis… Why are investors euphoric?
