RER D train traffic was still disrupted this Thursday morning after a power supply failure that occurred last night from 7 p.m. near Vert de Maisons station.
Trains do not stop at Vert de Maison station in both directions and at Créteil and Villeneuve stations in the direction of Melun and Corbeil Essonne.
For the moment, the SNCF does not indicate a timetable for the return to normal.
These disruptions come after a big night of hardship for many travelers.
At around 7 p.m., a break in the catenary almost immediately resulted in the interruption of traffic on line D of the RER and on line R of the Transilien, but also on some trains including Intercités to Dijon.
Initially, the SNCF had indicated that the resumption of traffic was to take place around 9.15 p.m.
But many travelers actually waited much longer.
At 10 p.m., still nothing ... It was not until 10:40 p.m. that the traffic was able to resume gradually.
Small update 3 hours later we are still stuck on the train 😗✌🏻 a big thank you for the quality service @rerd_sncf https://t.co/NpRUx8Evd0

In the trains, impatience has increased a notch.
“We had been gone for two minutes, we were really 1 km from Gare de Lyon,” said a resident of Noisiel on France Bleu.
And to add: "There was tension in the trains, people who could not take any more".
Some wanted to go down on the tracks to try to reach the Gare de Lyon.
An attitude which led the SNCF to delay the resumption of traffic while waiting for the lines to be secured.

In the meantime, user associations quickly stepped up to denounce the lack of information given to passengers during this incident.
“Another big electrical incident with users of lines D and R stranded in trains for more than 2 hours with very little information.
Deplorable ”, launched Fnaut on Twitter.
