The Syrian Scientific Olympiad administration in the Excellence and Creativity Authority launched the university competition for robotics and smart systems and announced the start of registration and acceptance of project reports to participate in the competition until the first of next June.
Nabug Yassin, Director of the Syrian Scientific Olympiad at the Excellence and Creativity Authority, indicated in a statement to SANA that the competition, which is held for the first time, aims to encourage university students to complete engineering and research university projects in the fields of robotic sciences, smart systems and industrial applications with the aim of solving real problems in industry and other fields, evaluating them and putting forward The possibility of finding an investor for it.
According to Yassin, the competition includes two categories, the first of which is for research projects, in which the student submits an original research paper at the master's or doctoral level, and for the engineering projects category, an engineering model is submitted in addition to a scientific report and a file presented by a team of one to five students.
Yassin pointed out that the competition, to be held on August 27 and 28, includes three axes, the first is robotics, the second is smart systems, and the third is industrial applications.
