A complaint for gender-based violence turned out to be the tip of the iceberg in an investigation into corruption of minors and alleged trafficking in persons.

The defendant is a well-known music producer in the art scene and the number of victims is still uncertain.

Sergio Daniel Nazer (62)

was arrested on Wednesday night in the Mirasoles neighborhood of Monte Grande, Esteban Echeverría's party.

The operation was carried out by agents of the Trafficking in Persons Division of the Argentine Federal Police.

There was also a raid on a property in the San Nicolás neighborhood, in the City of Buenos Aires.

The music producer is accused of the crimes of "

The scandal was triggered by a relative of a victim of gender violence who asked for help.

The complainant sought advice from Ana Rosenfeld's law firm, where, seeing the magnitude of the situation, they recommended and accompanied her to the victim to file the complaint against Nazer at the Lomas de Zamora attorney general's office.

The plot involves minors and crosses borders:

As soon as they investigated a little, the investigators realized the gravity of the events and moved quickly.

In just one week they gathered enough elements to order the arrest of Nazer and search him, suspected of corruption of minors and trafficking.

, while organizing shows, meeting with artists and planning tours, Nazer hid his dark side, which could be framed within an activity related to his privacy if it were not that he was committing one crime after another.

Through the social network Badoo, the producer contacted women,

mostly minors, Argentines, Uruguayans and even Colombians

, and after generating a minimal link, he began to communicate through one of their private telephones: they kidnapped eight cell phones.

The content of these devices will be decisive to accurately reconstruct the modus operandi of the suspect and a number of victims, which for now is uncertain: it is believed that there could be dozens.

They will also check for photos or videos of encounters with minors.

The chats would have been the fundamental piece to reach the indictment and arrest.

It is that in the messages contributed to the cause, it was found that, generated the link through the social network, Nazer went directly to the economic offer or of some other type to culminate the appointment with a sexual encounter.

One of the minors, 14 years old and of Colombian nationality, would have agreed in exchange for a package of powdered milk.

After Nazer's arrest, eight cell phones were seized, which will be appraised and where much more evidence is expected to compromise the music producer.

Another indication goes further and would involve the producer as a facilitator of prostitution.

In other words, it is suspected that Nazer not only contacted the adolescents, but also acted as a liaison for third parties.

That is why he must answer for the accusation of "

promoting the prostitution of minors under 18 years of age

."

Based on the evidence gathered so far, the cases would date back three years to the present. 

A historical reference in the entertainment industry, through his production company Nazer & Asociados, the accused represents a series of renowned folklorists and even an important Spanish musician.
