The Israeli who circled the earth on a bicycle was seriously injured when a bus hit him near his home

Roi Sadan, 39, an Israeli adventurer who became famous around the world when he rode the globe while riding a bicycle, was injured last night (Wednesday) by a bus, while riding his bicycle near the entrance to Kibbutz Rosh Hanikra where he lives.

The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m., when a United Tours bus carrying passengers was traveling on Route 4 from north to south toward Nahariya.
