The French handball team kicked off their Olympic Qualifying Tournament on Friday with a victory against Croatia (30-26).
Long battered, the Blues have the difference in the second half.
To qualify for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the goal is simple: France, fourth in the last World Cup, must finish among the top two in its group consisting of Croatia, Tunisia and Portugal.
The next match for Guillaume Gille's players will take place on Saturday against the Tunisians (9 p.m.).
