The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority and the General Organization for Maritime Rehabilitation and Training in Lattakia signed a memorandum of cooperation on developing the training aspect of the Syrian Academy for Maritime Transport and adding a greater dimension to entrepreneurship in it.
The agreement aims to implement a set of programs, projects, events, activities and cooperation in the field of vocational and maritime training and to build a participatory investment relationship to benefit from the material, human and training requirements available for training and qualification to serve the enterprise sector and to employ youth energies in all professions and trades, and to create cadres with technical expertise and competitive products.
The Director of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, Ihab Asmander, stated in a statement to SANA that this agreement aims to bridge the gap between the academic stage and the stage of graduation and the launch of the labor market, explaining that a program will be developed for students of the first and second year in the Academy to determine the quality of education, whether in the theoretical or practical field and determine the required work Some of them go to the postgraduate stage and establish special training courses that subsequently produce a qualified student to work while studying.
It is noteworthy that the duration of the agreement is one year, renewable, and it will be applied starting next week.
