A mobile phone slammed the head and wounded someone in Tung Chung.
At about 2 am today (13th), a 20-year-old male resident in Yong Yat House, Yat Tung Village, was reportedly attacked by a man with a mobile phone and other hard objects in the elevator lobby on one of the floors. After that, he fled without a trace.
The victim suffered severe head injuries and went home to seek help. He fell into a coma shortly afterwards. His father hurriedly called the police, and the victim was taken to North Lantau Hospital by an ambulance.
The police classified the case as "wounding" and are investigating the incident.
