The Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Daniel have been infected with the corona virus.
Both are currently in quarantine.
Stockholm - The corona virus does not stop at the Swedish royals either.
The Swedish Crown Princess Victoria (43) and her husband Prince Daniel (47) have tested positive for the corona virus.
The Swedish royal family announced on Thursday, March 11th.
The heir to the throne and her husband had already gone into quarantine at Victoria on Wednesday (March 10) because of signs of a cold.
After an investigation and a corona test, the infections have now been found.
The couple confirmed mild symptoms, they are doing well under the circumstances, according to the royal palace in Stockholm.
Her two children, Princess Estelle (9) and Prince Oscar (5), are understandably also in quarantine.
It is not yet clear whether they were also infected with the corona virus.
The Swedish royal family will most likely also comment on this in the coming days.

Princess Victoria shouldn't like the illness at all, because Friday is her name day.
In Sweden this is traditionally celebrated in a big way.
But due to the current corona pandemic, an event around the name day has been completely canceled.
These are not the first corona cases for the Swedish court.
Victoria's younger brother Carl Philip, 41, and his wife Sofia, 36, tested positive for the virus in November 2020.
It remains to be seen whether the course of the corona symptoms will remain the same and Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Daniel will not have any further side effects.
The news about the corona disease came just a few hours after Prince Daniel commented on today's World Kidney Day (March 11) about his own illness on the official Instagram account of the Swedish royals.
