(ANSA) - NAPLES, 12 MAR - The father asked for a mortgage for the house where they live but which due to the crisis caused by Covid was no longer able to pay and he, to help the family and pay the 30 thousand euros requested by bank, has started a fundraiser on the web (on buonacausa.org), to save "mom's house".

The boy is called Giuseppe Novissimo and he is 26 years old: to explain the reason for this initiative he told his story in a message published on the platform and shared the memories of his childhood, inextricably linked to that house in the historic center of Naples that now his family, for a few tens of thousands of euros, is in danger of losing.

Giuseppe's father is an economic operator who works in the catering sector, the one most affected by the effects caused by the Covid pandemic, especially in the cities of art such as Naples.

The collection is progressing and certainly Giuseppe does not expect to collect all the necessary sum in this way: "Many are donating, even a few euros can help us. The moment is difficult - he continues - but I am realizing that, despite the dark times we are experiencing , there are still people willing to help those who have been in trouble because of the virus, and this is giving me confidence ".

"Yes, - he adds - because I spent my childhood in Quarto" but "my mother's dream was to go back to the center, where she grew up, and where my father also grew up".

The turning point, Giuseppe explains, comes when his grandfather makes himself available to share in the city center: "After a year of work, the house was in effect owned by my mother and, finally, we could live in the city center and grow up with everyone. the desired possibilities. Unfortunately, however, the work turned out to be expensive and mine took out a shared mortgage to repay them; guarantee: the house. After a while, my father started to stop paying due to the crisis. to ask for the help of a lawyer ", but," the notice of foreclosure arrives, a few years ago ".

We try to do everything to resolve the issue but, writes the young man, "the bank no longer wants to know about any new long payments and it seems that the only way is the" balance and write-off ". To settle the debt, 30 thousand euros are needed. , to be paid immediately. "Next week there will be a hearing - Giuseppe concludes - and we still don't know where to get this money.

We are trying them all, or so or the house will be auctioned, my mother will stay on the street and we will lose the only property we have. "
