The takeoff of the presidential candidacy of Anne Hidalgo struggles to materialize.
It is not for lack of the mayor of Paris to have put her teams in working order and to multiply the strategic meetings.
But, obviously, public opinion is looking elsewhere for the moment.
Since she announced that she wanted to participate in this event, the voting intentions in her favor have not taken off.
A Harris Interactive poll, published by
L'Opinion
last Monday, gave it 6%.
The same score as last January when, for two months, the mayor of Paris has been leading a large-scale media offensive and increasing trips to the provinces.
"If I'm not at 13% in September, I'm not going"
, said the elected socialist to her troops recently, encouraging them to mobilize to find her original ideas in order to achieve this goal.

With such reasoning, Jacques Chirac would have thrown in the towel in 1994. Between March and November 1994, the mayor of Paris did not take off.
