A mobile phone slammed the head and wounded someone in Tung Chung.
At about 2 am today (13th), a 20-year-old male resident of Zhou Yi Building, Yat Tung Village, was reportedly attacked by a man with his mobile phone in the elevator lobby on one of the floors. Escape without a trace.
The victim suffered severe head injuries and went home to seek help. He fell into a coma shortly afterwards. His father hurriedly called the police, and the victim was taken to North Lantau Hospital by an ambulance.
The police classified the case as "assault caused actual bodily harm" and are investigating the incident.
