Mexican director Fernando Frías is one of the nominees in the Best Direction of a First Feature category by the Hollywood Directors Guild of America (DGA) for his work on "Ya no soy Aqui".
The film tells the story of Ulises, a young man who is part of "Los Terkos", a band immersed in the music of the Kolombia movement, in northeast Mexico, and is forced to flee to the United States.
