Forget the telecommuting routine for 24 hours… by going to sleep in one of the 30 very stylish rooms (two of which have a rooftop) of this new boutique hotel, located in the heart of the half-bobo, half-industrial district of Le Sentier.
Here, small cafes, florists, take-out donut stalls are gradually replacing textile wholesalers.
The streets are narrow, the small squares being redeveloped.
The Cairo Passage, still in its original state, benefits from a new glass roof to let in the light.

This district dedicated to Napoleon's “return from Egypt” - with its streets of Alexandria, the Nile, Aboukir… - is in the midst of gentrification.
The reference can be found even on the listed facade of the building dating from 1795 with its sculpted heads of the goddess Hathor.

Entirely restored by Charlotte and Samuel Castro, with the architect Vincent Bastie, the place is now a warm and ultra-design refuge with bright furnished rooms.
