One person is allowed in the vaccination center.
Will the health insurance cover the taxi ride to the vaccination center?
You can ask your family doctor in advance of the appointment.
Depending on your physical situation, they can issue you a taxi ticket if they deem it necessary.
What about the Astrazeneca vaccine that has been exposed in different countries? I myself have concerns.
In Germany he still has the approval.
Meanwhile also for the group of the over 65-year-olds.
He will continue to be vaccinated with us.
This vaccine is in no way worse than any other vaccine.
It has a good protective effect.
At the moment we are happy to have every vaccination unit available to help us move forward.
But there have been deaths related to Astrazeneca!
There was a lot in the media, but it was not proven that the vaccinations were the cause of the deaths.
The only thing that has been confirmed is that the side effects after the first vaccination are a bit more pronounced than with Biontech or Moderna.
However, it actually shows that the vaccine is “doing its job”.
That is also the reason why there is a longer break before the second vaccination.

I have to do chemotherapy. How do I have to proceed if I want to be vaccinated against Corona?
You must not be vaccinated during chemotherapy.
You will be given several appointments to choose from for the first vaccination.
Depending on which vaccine is available, the intervals between the first and second vaccination are different.
With one vaccine, the second vaccination must be given after three weeks, with the other only after three months.
Even if you do not accept a vaccination appointment after registering, you will remain “in the raffle”.
At some point there is guaranteed to be an appointment where it fits.
I have a pre-existing condition. What do I have to bring to the vaccination appointment?
It is sufficient if you bring a certificate from your family doctor with you.
We at the vaccination center don't need any hospital reports or anything like that.
I'm 77. How does the vaccination go with the family doctor?
We hope that the general practitioners will support us from April onwards.
I think the subject will be over for you because you have already been vaccinated through the vaccination center by then.
The problem with family doctors is not that they cannot vaccinate or document it.
Logistics must first be set up so that you can store the vaccine.
It will certainly take a few weeks before the family doctors actively vaccinate.
The vaccine from Johnson & Johnson would be predestined for general practitioners because it is easy to handle and store.
But if it is approved, it will take another 14 days to three weeks before it is available in Germany.
And then it still has to be distributed to the general practitioners.
I see the general practitioners vaccinating more in May than in April.

You have to take action yourself and use the registration link to choose a new date on your own.
