A celebration entitled (Childhood and Creativity) hosted by the Cultural Center in Homs included a comprehensive art exhibition and honoring 14 winners of the Ministry of Culture's competitions and the youngest reader competition.

The event organized by the Homs Culture Directorate, the Children's Department, in the Center's writer Sami Al-Droubi hall, aimed at encouraging children, developing their talents, and lighting them in various cultural activities.

In a statement to Sana's correspondent, Saba Wassouf, head of the children’s department at the Culture Directorate, indicated that the exhibition included 25 artworks ranging from painting, sculpture and application by artists Faouzi Al-Saadi and Ahmed Ramadan Al-Ali, whose subjects touch nature and the child's world full of fun and colors.

The honored children who won the award of the Ministry of Culture in Arabic Calligraphy, Hassan Suleiman, Hafez Suleiman and Lyn Ibrahim, indicated that the honor is an incentive for them to continue creativity in this field and highlight their talents.

In turn, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Shaer, founder and chairman of the Al Rabeeh Society for Autistic Children, considered that honoring the two children Zain Ezz El-Din and Mahmoud Saadia, winners of the first and third prizes, by drawing in the Ministry's competitions for the category of people with disabilities, constitutes important psychological support for them and their families and gives them an opportunity for a better future in which all components of society contribute to containing This slide.

The event also witnessed honoring personalities who cooperated with the Children and Adolescents Department of the Culture Directorate in the field of developing children's talents and skills, including the calligrapher Yusha al-Khader, the school Wafa Al-Khatib, the artists Fawzi Al-Saadi and Ahmed Ramadan Al-Ali, who indicated the importance of developing children's skills in all fields, indicating that he receives in his workshop a number of them to teach them repetition. Recycling and various arts such as al-Ajami and sculpture.

The celebration included dancing and singing activities for the Syrian Butterfly band coming from Al-Raqama village in Homs countryside, which includes 10 children of different ages.
