With 1.34 g of alcohol in his blood, a 32-year-old father deliberately let his 10-year-old son get behind the wheel of his vehicle on the night of February 26 to 27, reports the
South West
regional daily
this Saturday March 13.

Not feeling able to get behind the wheel, the father preferred to let his son drive him to the family home.
The young boy would have done surprisingly well with a car equipped with a manual gearbox.
No accident to deplore, not even the slightest misbehavior.
But simply a bad reflex.
At around 7.15 p.m., in Saint-Pierre d'Oléron (17), the child would have tried to be discreet in the sight of the gendarmes by turning off the headlights of the vehicle.
This obviously did not fail to attract the attention of the gendarmes who at the same time noticed the small size of the driver behind the wheel.
The gendarmes thus proceeded to check the vehicle before lecturing the young boy.
His father has for his part been summoned to court.
He is being prosecuted for "complicity in driving without a license".
