The Homs branch of the Palestinian Sports Federation seeks to revitalize the sports approved by it and refine the experiences of the players by holding many friendly meetings with the governorate's clubs, as well as providing halls and playgrounds for training.
In the Al-Ittihad branch, he plays football in all its categories, handball for the female category, table tennis, chess, karate, judo, kickboxing, body building and athletics.
Vice President of the Palestinian Sports Federation Wael Fayyad stated in his statement to SANA Sports correspondent that work is currently underway to revive sports activities in Homs by organizing many friendly meetings, attracting talents, refining them and qualifying them for local and foreign participation.
Fayyad mentioned that the federation has a number of experiences and young volunteer elements that are making their utmost efforts to improve the status of accredited sports, indicating that the most prominent difficulties facing work are the lack of financial resources and the difficulty of providing stadiums and training halls, explaining at the same time that work is being done to overcome these difficulties through coordination with Sports Union branch in Homs and some halls
