An alleged major fire in an asylum home has led to massive deployment of the police, fire brigade and auxiliary workers.
Even though it was a false positive, someone was harmed.
Freilassing - major fire in the asylum home?
What suggested itself as a horror for the fire brigade and emergency services in the Berchtesgadener Land, turned out relatively light.
What happened?
Freilassing / Berchtesgander Land: The all-clear - it was “just” a grill
A major alarm was triggered on Saturday (March 13, 2021): The northern fire brigades in Berchtesgadener Land, the rescue service and THW were alerted.
The reason: A major fire in the asylum home Römerstrasse / Bruch.
The
Berchtesgadener Anzeiger
and
Wasserburg24.de
report
unanimously.
The emergency services rushed to the scene - but the all-clear was quickly given - it was not the home that was on fire, but a barbecue.
But much more than it should: Large flames created a lot of smoke, which the emergency services took care of.
Nobody got hurt.
Traffic accident near the fire - Toyota crashes into Polo
Because the officers raced at full speed to the alleged major fire, there was an accident on the B304 (Bruch junction).
Two vehicles were involved.
A VW Polo whose driver had the fire brigade turn in the direction of the fire - and a Toyota driver who realized this too late and crashed the rear of the Polo.
The passenger in the VW was injured.
Because the situation was initially confusing, the SEG (rapid response force), as well as the IuK (information and communication technology) and an additional emergency doctor from neighboring Salzburg in Austria were alerted.
In addition, the fire brigade from Freilassing and Ainring, Noarzt and ambulance vehicles, THW technical advisors, district fire inspection BGL and several police patrols were on site.
The road B304 was temporarily closed completely and traffic was diverted.
