Hundreds of people demonstrate tonight (Saturday) against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and government corruption in Jerusalem and Caesarea.

This, for the 38th week in a row in protest.

The main focus of the demonstration is in Paris Square in the capital, and demonstrators also arrived near Netanyahu's private home in Caesarea.

Police said their forces were stationed on the streets near the prime minister's residence in Balfour, blocking Ben Maimon, Gaza, Paris Square, Agron, King George and Keren Hayesod streets.

The Movement for Quality of Government, whose people came to Caesarea, attacked Netanyahu and said that "morning news we hear how critical decisions are made for political rather than business reasons, without public transparency and without accountability to the public. "Israel from the economic, social and constitutional crisis, Netanyahu continues to engage in his personal struggle for survival."

The demonstrations sometimes provoke anger among supporters of the prime minister, and the same tension is dragged down to violent incidents.

Thus, last week a woman who participated in a demonstration in Yavneel was beaten and injured in the nose by boys from the locality.

She was bleeding, but did not need MDA treatment. This was the second time in recent weeks that boys attacked the demonstrators against the prime minister in the colony. In

parallel with demonstrations against the prime minister last week in Hadera, about 100 Likud activists demonstrated in support of Netanyahu on the sidewalk in front of Rene Shani. He addressed activists. On the other hand, about a hundred people demonstrated against him, as the police divided between the parties. Netanyahu's supporters shouted at his opponents, "You are not our brothers, you are just rubbish," "Get out of here," and "Leftists, you are traitors."

What are the demonstrations about?

The demonstrators are protesting against Netanyahu's continued tenure at the same time as being charged with a crime, claiming, among other things, that he cannot separate his personal and legal good from his political decisions.

The prime minister is charged with three counts.

In the 1000 case

(the benefit benefits affair), Netanyahu is accused of receiving benefits worth about NIS 700,000 from businessmen Arnon Milchen and James Packer, while he served as prime minister.

The main gifts were cigars, champagne packages and jewelry.

In addition, it was alleged that Netanyahu acted in Milchen's favor in three matters, in which the businessman sought his intervention: he approached US Secretary of State John Kerry to extend the businessman's visa, he approached Finance Minister Yair Lapid to extend the exemption. A tax for returning residents, and he worked to promote a merger of "Keshet" and "Reshet" - ostensibly at Milchen's request.

According to the lawsuit, these acts damaged the image of the public service and the public's trust in it.

The 2000 case

(the Netanyahu-Mozes affair) deals with talks between Netanyahu and Yedioth Ahronoth publisher Noni Mozes. The person who offered the deal is Mozes, so he is accused of bribery. On the other hand, the ombudsman was also convinced that Netanyahu did not intend to complete the bribe deal, but continued the talks with Mozes to improve his coverage in the Yedioth group, and there are certain actions to do so.

Case 4000

(Bezeq-Walla affair) The most serious case for the prime minister concerns regulatory benefits worth hundreds of millions of shekels, which Netanyahu allegedly granted to Elowitz.

In return, according to the indictment, Elovich acted to skew the coverage on the Walla!

NEWS, which was under his control.
