When asked whether "in the event of an epidemic outbreak, face-to-face tests will remain so", Jean-Michel Blanquer replies: "the health situation should normally be more relaxed in June".
"So, logically, the French Bac for first year students, the philosophy tests and the new grand oral will be held under the normal conditions of terminal control", he adds.
In January, the Minister had to cancel, for the students of Terminale, the first specialty tests of the new baccalaureate scheduled for March, in favor of continuous assessment, due to the health crisis.
Thanks to an ordinance, the government can adapt the terms of the 2021 baccalaureate and other exams depending on the evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic up to two weeks before the start of the tests.
