According to him, “

this new Île-de-France Mobilités police force, placed under the authority of the President of the Region, will complete and coordinate the patchwork today made up of the Suge (General surveillance of the SNCF) and the Security of the RATP.

It will also be complementary, in transport, to the national police and municipal police

 ”.

"

I will recruit or contract 500 agents from the first year for an annual cost estimated at 80 million euros

", added the general rapporteur of the budget to the National Assembly, recognizing a cost which is "

not negligible

 ".

For high schools, he intends to "

establish a hybrid model

 " by "

resorting to private security companies, for the sake of agility and efficiency

 ".

In transport, he considers "

essential

" that this police be equipped with lethal weapons.

He believes that it should "

not be done to the detriment of prevention

" which, according to him, "

has been neglected in recent years

 ".

In the area of the environment, it intends to focus “

the regional recovery plan primarily on the decarbonisation

” of industries and on the greening of the Ile-de-France vehicle fleet.

Help to buy an electric vehicle

In order to help with the acquisition of an electric vehicle, he plans to pay 50% for professionals and "

for individuals eligible for public aid, it will only be a third

 ".

In 2020, around 20,000 electric vehicles were sold in Île-de-France, 17% of national figures.

We were at 10,000 in 2019. If the Region distributes a conversion aid of 5,000 euros on average per vehicle, we will be around 100 million euros,

 ”he said.

He considers "

irresponsible

" the proposal of the socialist candidate Audrey Pulvar for free transport but undertakes "

not to increase the prices of the Navigo Pass, because it is necessary to restore purchasing power to Ile-de-France residents

 ".

Laurent Saint-Martin was invested for the regional June, the Minister of National Education, Jean-Michel Blanquer, having thrown in the towel.

In addition to Audrey Pulvar, he will face him the current president of the right-wing region Valérie Pécresse, Julien Bayou (EELV), Clémentine Autain (LFI) and Jordan Bardella (RN).
