The workshops of the Water Corporation and the General Electricity Company of Hasakeh are carrying out maintenance work for the electrical lines feeding the Alouk station in the countryside of Ras al-Ain, which was damaged as a result of the strong winds in the region yesterday.
The director of the Water Corporation, Eng. Mahmoud Al-Ikla, stated in a statement to the SANA reporter that since yesterday afternoon, the maintenance workshops have been maintaining the electrical lines that connect the Darbasiyah power station to the Alouk water station, which have suffered breakdowns in multiple areas as a result of strong winds, indicating that a number of faults have been maintained and it is expected to complete Maintenance work today and restarting the Alouk station and pumping water to the city of Hasaka, according to the specified rationing program.
It is noteworthy that the Alouk station feeds the city of Hasakah and the western countryside of the governorate with water, according to a rationing schedule that divides these areas into five sectors.
