New hope: "Likud activists attack our activists at a conference in the Gezer Regional Council" (Editing: Tal Reznik)
Likud activists who attended the election meeting of a new Tikva party in the Gezer regional council this evening (Saturday) violently attacked some of the participants, Gideon Saar's party said.
According to them, a new hopeful who fainted in the incident was evacuated by ambulance and a police force was called to the scene.
Chairman of New Hope Saar called the attack during his speech at a serious conference, saying: “This whole thing of trying to disrupt, blow up with noise and violence a conference of another political movement.
