At the weekend, a request for absentee voting is only possible if there is a serious reason.
This includes, for example, a sudden illness that prevents people from going to the polling station.
In such cases, contact your local electoral office as early as possible using the information on your election notification.
If, on the other hand, you have not yet sent the election letter over the weekend, you can put it in the mailbox yourself at the address printed on it.
The election letter must also arrive there by 6 p.m. on Sunday.
