The plans for an exchange of space are starting: Maisach wants to set up a school and sports park on the planned Traber site on the old airfield, for which a construction company is to receive the current area of SC Maisach for residential development.
But there was also criticism in the local council of the project.

What the local council decided against the votes of Waltraut Wellenstein (SPD) and the two Greens present is what the majority of the committee considers to be a mega-deal, as was evident from the statements made at the meeting.
Vite Mayor Roland Müller (CSU) said the prospect of the exchange of space would be "a stroke of luck for Maisach and an opportunity for SCM".
Gottfried Obermair (FW) raved about the resulting opportunities - and about a "zero-sum game for the community".

The plans envisage that Maisach will hand over the current grounds of the sports club (around 25,000 square meters) to the Karl Group.
In return, the construction company is transferring the planned Traber area (around 82,000 square meters) to the municipality.
With the exchange, Maisach should not incur any costs.
Rather, the Karl Group should also pay for the construction of the entire new SCM site.
Air base: The trotters are not coming
In his opinion, the group is also making a mega-deal.
The Karl Group can't do anything with the Trotter area - the Trotters don't come to Maisach.
In the development plan, the racecourse and horse-loving trade are laid down for the area.
And only the municipality can change the plan.
She'll have to do that.
Because Maisach is planning a school and sports park there.
In addition to the sports club (which cannot be expanded near the houses, but has problems with the neighbors because of the noise), the municipality wants to locate the outdoor pool there.
This facility is also adjacent to a residential area - here, too, there is trouble with residents and even a threat of legal action.
In addition, the bathroom is to be expanded as part of the necessary renovation.
Relocation of the outdoor pool
Now the municipal administration will determine the costs for relocating the outdoor pool.
The mayor should continue to negotiate with the Karl group.
Because nothing has been signed yet.
But plans are already being made - after all, everyone wants to know what would be possible on the current sports grounds and what would be possible on the Traber grounds.
The construction company pays in full for the concepts commissioned by the municipal council.
As before, the offices of Schober and Dragomir, who have been supporting Maisach in the conversion process for years, are in use.
For the Noch-SCM area, a concept including an environmental report, intervention investigation, species protection specialist article and FFH compatibility assessment will be drawn up.
That makes 36,000 euros.
The whole thing is more expensive at the trotting area: 105,000 euros are incurred.
When the concepts are in place, you want to draw up contracts.
The Karl Group would like to create living space on the SC site.
There is constant building
The former 3rd Mayor Wellenstein had no objection to the project itself.

In Maisach there is constant building and densification, the community is already no longer able to provide enough new daycare places.
"The spiral is turning more and more, that scares me." You could wait another five to ten years with the mega-deal, "it won't run away from us".
