The Minister of Intelligence, Eli Cohen, today (Sunday) attacked the Knesset member and Speaker of the Ram, Mansour Abbas, calling him a "fifth corps."
This is a sharp attack by the Likud on MK Abbas.
Cohen spoke at the B'Sheva conference and said: "The members of the joint list, including Mansour Abbas, are a fifth corps.
"Approved peace agreements are good for every Israeli citizen and they chose to oppose because of instructions they received from Iran, Lebanon and the Palestinian Authority."
While the Likud condemns Abbas, the joint list is angry with him for refusing to sign a surplus agreement with the list.
The joint list issued an announcement in Arabic stating that "Mansour Abbas' escape from the surplus agreement confirms his cooperation with Netanyahu."
On the other hand, officials in the RAAM told "Israel Today" that there was no request from the joint party to sign a surplus agreement.
Earlier, sources in the joint list told Radio Nas that "Mansour Abbas apparently received 'instructions from above' not to sign a surplus agreement. "Rape the Islamic movement in Netanyahu's service."
