Completing the infrastructure, including sanitation, water and electricity networks, facilitating the return of industrialists to their facilities and resuming their production in Fadloun One and Two and Port Said, the most prominent demands of the industrialists during their meeting today with the Minister of Local Administration and Environment Eng. SANA met a number of industrialists after the meeting, as Khair Sudan from Fadloun 2 indicated that 90 percent of the infrastructure in the region is implemented and most services are available, but there is a need to maintain roads and provide means of transport for workers, while Badr Majzoub, one of the industrialists of Port Said region, pointed to giving them promises at the meeting. Regarding the provision of 5 transmission centers for electricity so that the industrialists can resume the production process, since most of them completed the rehabilitation and restoration of their facilities.
The Fadloun area includes about 2,500 establishments, of which about 30 percent returned after providing services and rebuilding the infrastructure in Fadloun 2, according to the head of the industrial committee in it, Mazen Shaboun, who expressed his hope to expand infrastructure services, complete the asphalting of the streets, and provide facilities in obtaining restoration and rehabilitation licenses and granting loans. To encourage the return of all remaining facilities to production.
Minister Makhlouf stated in a statement to reporters after reviewing the reality of Fadloun One and Two and Port Said that the meeting comes to provide more support for industrialists and encourage everyone to return to their factories and resume their production, indicating the approval to allocate the necessary sums to complete all services in Fadloun One and Two and Port Said, and thus the return of the industrialists. The rapid start of rehabilitation of facilities.
Makhlouf stated that the rehabilitation of the infrastructure, the maintenance of the sewage, water and electricity networks, and the asphalting of the streets contributed to the return of more than 700 establishments to production in Fadloun Two, and we are looking for in the second phase to complete the return of the rest of the industrialists after completing the rehabilitation of the infrastructure and returning more than 500 industrialists and craftsmen to work and production in the Port Said region. And another 250 industrialists in Fadloun One area.
The governor of Damascus countryside confirmed in a similar statement that the industrialists ’demands will be taken into consideration and work will be carried out on their implementation according to the priorities, indicating that the infrastructure works will be started in one favor to accelerate the return of the industrialists.
