Cold shoulder from tyrant: U.S. administration officials reported today (Sunday) that Kim Jong Un's regime ignored several requests from Biden's men to try to renew communication between the two countries and bring about negotiations on Pyongyang's nuclear ballistic missile program.

A senior U.S. official told Reuters that "many attempts" had been made by the administration to contact Kim's men, but no significant response was received.

The senior official added that in the past six months there have been no official contacts between the two countries.

According to US media reports, Biden government officials tried to contact Kim through the North Korean delegation to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, but no response was received to their inquiries.

Biden announced a week ago a change in North Korean policy that is expected to be unveiled during April.

The media in the closed country did not report at all on Biden's victory in the US presidential election and in the clips that appear in the news editions, former US President Donald Trump still appears.

North Korea has been suffering for the past year from an economic crisis it has not experienced before since the 1990s.

Earlier this year, Kim Jong Un, who controls a country without Egypt, admitted that his regime had failed to deal with the crisis, which stemmed from a significant setback in economic ties between North Korea and China.
