Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit believes that the Likud campaign should continue to use the slogan "returning to life", because the Ministry of Health used it earlier to promote the vaccination campaign - this evening (Sunday) according to the state's response to the petition filed by the National Responsibility Movement The Election Commission, Judge Uzi Vogelman,

"National Responsibility" demands that the Election Commission issue a restraining order that will require the removal of all publications on behalf of the Likud or on behalf of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with the slogan "Returning to Life" and prohibit visits by Likud candidates Election Day The state response to the petition states that the Likud Party's use of the above slogan is a violation of the Election Law: Propaganda Methods, because the Ministry of Health's campaign used this slogan even earlier.

Regarding the demand to ban visits by the Prime Minister, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein and other Likud candidates to the vaccination complexes, the state's response states that the Ministry of Justice recently held a discussion on the issue and formulated criteria for holding such events with government ministers.

"Against the background of many requests for events with the participation of government members by virtue of their public office whose justification is based on the vaccination campaign, and following a discussion on the issue, the Deputy Attorney General set criteria for examining requests by government members for such visits," the state said.

The State's position is that the established criteria, in accordance with the case law and guidelines, allow visits only where the dominant purpose of the visit is to fulfill the state function, and a precondition for the visit is that it can indeed be justified by the nature and nature of the state function. "In doing so, they alleviate the fear of a possible use of the vaccination campaign for the purposes of a dominant purpose of prohibited propaganda."

Last month it became known that MK Osnat Mark (Likud) visits HMO branches in various cities in the country, and encourages people to get vaccinated - and also to vote for Likud. This is in contrast to the Election Law (Propaganda Ways), which prohibits election propaganda in a body controlled by the State Comptroller. The patients are a controlled and supervised body funded by public funds, and yet, during Mark's visits to the vaccination complexes, which are broadcast live on her Facebook page, she distributes masks to the Likud and calls for a vote for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

A week earlier, Mark announced a Facebook campaign. To the south "In 29 cities and localities around the country, during which she visited vaccination complexes in Or Akiva, Raanana and Ashdod, accompanied by the heads of the local branches of the Likud." Who brought the vaccines to Israel?

The Likud! ", She announced upon entering the first station in the vaccination compound in the Or Akiva municipality, while distributing the Likud's campaign masks to the compound's employees." We must thank the Prime Minister for this!

We came for it. "

During the visits, Mark received explanations about the activity and the rate of immunization, and even talked to those who came to get vaccinated at that time about vaccines and side effects - also about politics." In the end you go to vote for Likud, right? " Go and vote, otherwise we will lose here to Lapid. "
