The government convenes this morning (Sunday) for a meeting on the opening of the skies, in light of today's High Court hearing on petitions demanding that all Israelis return to Israel indefinitely to vote in the elections.
Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu
said that "the obvious decision is to open the skies to all destinations."
Attorney General
Avichai Mandelblit
asked the cabinet ministers to make an urgent decision on the matter.
"I need an affidavit from the Ministry of Health and a person on its behalf who will explain things," he said.
"I hoped that it would be possible to increase the number of people entering the country every day to 4,000. However, it is possible to go to court. There is no time. We will try to make the best decision you can make."

Health Minister
Yuli Edelstein
said he understands the difficulty facing the High Court, “but if I had listened to those voices we would be 16,000 dead today.
We will not listen to these voices.
Whoever proposes to summarize things that are not acceptable to professional officials of the Ministry of Health who will replace Sharon Elrai-Price and Hezi Levy and represent these positions in the High Court, "protested Edelstein.
He said, “The only thing that will spoil the whole picture is not fans in the stands or teenagers it is the variants that will come in from abroad.
The experts of the Ministry of Health insist that it is forbidden to immigrate more than 3,000 people a day from abroad.
On the other hand, Deputy Chief of Staff
Eitan Ben-David
clarified that it is possible to add targets and increase the number of people entering the country to 4,000 a day. "After hearing the opinion of the various ministries, we came to an answer that could satisfy the High Court. We did not reach 3,000 and the planes are half empty. We proposed to increase the quota to 4,000, which will provide an additional solution to everything related to this. We went out in a Foreign Ministry survey and were told this morning that there are two things, few inquiries "A case for 4,000 is a big increase in percentages, and we probably won't reach that number either."

The High Court issued a conditional order reserved for the state to explain why the restrictions on the entry and exit of Israelis from Ben Gurion Airport will not be lifted.
The order refers to the Exceptions Committee, which must approve each departure from Israel, to limit the number of arrivals to Israel to 3,000 per day, as well as to limit the number of destinations for public passenger flights to and from Israel.
