The production of the plan was supposed to take off for Dubai, but their flight did not materialize - probably because of Saudi Arabia | Tourism

The reason is probably the Saudi authorities' ban on flying over its territory, despite the fact that many flights from Israel have previously been allowed to fly on the same route

  • Will the Survival Production Flight be canceled?

The Israir flight on which the members of the production team of "Survival" were supposed to board to Dubai, and continue from there to the destination where the series is filmed, was not allowed to take off.

The reason for the decision, apparently, is a ban by the authorities in Saudi Arabia that the flight will pass over its territory.

It is not possible to reach Dubai in any other way that does not pass over the country, unless one takes a detour route and is very inconvenient, which lengthens the road significantly.

During the period of closing the sky, "survival" crews took off from Israel after receiving special permission from the Exceptions Committee, now more crew members are supposed to join them, but at this time there is no permit for the flight.

Israir is trying to get the necessary approvals to operate the flight as soon as possible. The Ministry of Transportation claims that the issue is not their responsibility. As of this moment, the members of the "Survival" team are still on the ground in Israel, without a permit to fly to Dubai over Saudi Arabia. It is important to note that all Israeli airlines, including Israir, have already performed this route dozens of times, especially in December, the month in which dozens of Israeli airlines flew to Dubai.
