The onset of winter caught several drivers cold on the A 8 near Holzkirchen on Sunday, reports the motorway police.
Several injured had to be hospitalized.
All accidents could have been avoided by adjusting the speed.
Around 9 a.m., a man from Rosenheim (44) in the direction of Munich, shortly after Holzkirchen in the Otterfing municipality, skidded with his Mercedes in the left lane on slush and hit the Audi of a Miesbacher (41) on his right.
The Audi touched the Renault of a Nussdorfers (54), the Mercedes ended up in the wilderness fence.
The driver and the Miesbacher's wife (39) came to the hospital slightly injured.
The property damage adds up to around 20,000 euros.
The Weyarn fire brigade and the motorway maintenance department had to secure and clean the accident site.
The 44-year-old has to answer for negligent bodily harm.

The same applies to a Swabian woman (21) who skidded with her Audi a few hundred meters earlier around 11.30 a.m., crashed into the left guard rail and stopped across the road.
A Neubeurer (44) could no longer evade with his Peugeot panel van and crashed into the driver's side of the Audi.
Both drivers and the passenger (26) in the Peugeot came to the hospital with minor injuries.
Damage: around 26,000 euros.
Weyarn fire brigade and motorway maintenance department had to work again.
At around 11.50 a.m., a man from Munich (34) lost control of his BMW in the opposite direction.
Fortunately, he slid under a large signpost and came to a stop outside the right guard rail.
The driver was unharmed.
Damage: 20,000 euros.
The Munich man has to expect a fine and a point.
At around 2:50 p.m., a 42-year-old from Munich drove on the motorway towards Salzburg in the left lane.
Shortly before the fuel and rest area at Holzkirchen Süd, he lost control of his BMW on the slush-covered lane, skidded and crashed into the right guard rail.
He and his 45-year-old passenger were uninjured.
The property damage amounts to a total of around 11,000 euros.
The Munich man has to expect a fine and a point in Flensburg.
