Hard Documentation: A resident of Ibelin was arrested on suspicion of violently assaulting a 13-year-old girl

The girl was lightly injured in the incident and was taken for further treatment at Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The suspect, a 40-year-old man, was taken for questioning by the Shefar'am police and his detention was extended.

A 40-year-old resident of Ibelin was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a 13-year-old girl over the past weekend, police announced today (Sunday).

The girl was lightly injured in the incident and transferred for further treatment at Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The suspect was interrogated Shefar'am and his detention was extended until tomorrow.

Last month, an indictment was filed in the Magistrate's Court in Acre against a 54-year-old resident of Ibelin, for assaulting and threatening his wife.

The man threatened his wife to burn her, the house and the car, after she refused to have intercourse with him, claiming that the result of her corona test had not yet been obtained.

The indictment further states that in another incident he attacked her and threatened her and their daughter who came out in her defense.
