Dar Al-Assad for Culture in Lattakia hosted a concert by Choir Haneen and Dream of Safita, a concert with a collection of contemporary songs by Syrian and Arab musicians, in addition to a set of badge songs for serials and cartoons.
Over an hour, the choir led by Maher Roumieh, Maher Roumieh, and the participation of musicians Zulfikar Salloum on the piano, Muhammad Shehadeh a percussion and Ghanem Abdel Hamid on the oud performed the choral concert, which bore the title Spot of Light as one of the concert songs.
This title is a confirmation that despite the difficult circumstances in which we live today, we still cling to the spot of light that we hope will grow to encompass our country, Syria, according to Dr. Noha Bashour, founder and director of the choir.
Bashour explained in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the choir today included 90 singers distributed on the Choral Nostalgia for Adults and Dream for Young People and presented a new program in which it was keen to bring contemporary songs to the great Syrian musicians Iyad Rimawi, Taher Mamlali, Samir Kouifati and Khaled Rizk who presented works that touched the interests of the younger generation in addition to presenting a group From contemporary Arab and Western songs, and the songs of the soap operas badge in the style of the choir, which presents the song in a different way through the harmonic distribution.
The nostalgia choir for adults opened the evening with international songs, Frozen and Carol of Off, then moved to the hymn of the Virgin Mary and the song "Maine", while the young dream choir starred, who was able to enjoy great interaction and encouragement from the audience with the songs of Bakra, the sweetest and lost, and the songs of cartoons.
Then Choir Haneen moved with his professional performance to songs loved by the audience and left a trail in it.
It is noteworthy that the choir, which was founded in 2010, has 110 members, has performed more than 30 concerts, and has nearly 220 songs distributed in its archive.
