Damascus-Sana
The Drama Theater at Dar Al-Assad for Culture and Arts hosted the first musical evening of the young academic singer Heba Fahim after her graduation from the Higher Institute of Music.
The musical evening program carried the oriental character with its various schools by Syrian, Egyptian and Lebanese authors, through which she demonstrated the gift of her academic vocal abilities that nourished her during her five years of studies in the Department of Oriental Singing.
The crowd of the evening listened to Heba as she performed in her soft, soft voice, full of feminine sensation, a bouquet of songs firmly in memory, and she led the Rahbanah, the way of the bees, and between me and you, oh Is the night.
Despite the softness of her voice, the continuous training she received at the institute enabled her to reach high levels, so she sang Muwashah, passing a wonder to Omar Al-Batsh, and I am afraid I say the one in my heart to Muhammad Abdel Wahhab and it is too late to conclude her evening gift with a contemporary song, which is my life with you by Salah Al-Sharnoubi.
Elite young Syrian authors took turns to re-distribute these songs, including Hassan Nader, Maestro Adnan Fathallah, Kamal Skiker, Kanan Adnawi, George Malik, Narik Abajian and Mahdi al-Mahdi, and it was surprising that Hiba also distributed two pieces within this evening, one of them is the Hijaz link from the ancient heritage.
In a statement to Sana, Heba explained that the evening for her is a challenge, because for the first time she sang a full program, pointing out that she tried to diversify her evening's program from the tarabi to heritage and light in addition to instrumental music, confirming her endeavor to reach people through her voice and leave a beautiful impact on them.
It is noteworthy that Heba Fahim is a graduate of the Higher Institute of Music in 2020 and has participated in many evenings and concerts with many bands, including the Syrian National Orchestra for Arab Music, Qasid and Luna, and works as a trainer in the existing community harmony project with the "UNDub B" organization and studied oriental singing at the Life Center of the Solhi Institute the valley.
