Dozens of ration seizures were organized by patrols of the directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates of Lattakia, Tartous, Daraa, Aleppo and Homs, against violators as part of their follow-up to the state of markets, the work of bakeries, and the distribution of fuel.

In Lattakia, the elements of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized rationing controls for the feed factories, which varied between not providing cost data, not giving regular invoices, selling at an excessive price, and two factories were closed with red wax and referring the seizure to the appropriate court in the first place.

In Aleppo, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized 67 rationing controls against a number of bakeries, with violations of the sale of bread without bags, the lack of the weight of the bundle, and the poor manufacture of food bread.

The seizures included a number of shops with violations of possession of unknown-source materials “makeup, baby diapers, perfumes and foodstuffs”, chopping chicken nibs, chicken bones and chicken skin, selling it as chicken kebab and soaking chicken with water, in addition to not announcing prices and displaying expired materials.

In Daraa, members of the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate organized 17 rationing controls that affected a number of bakeries with violations of producing poorly made bread, a decrease in the weight of bread ties, and a number of stores with offenses not announcing prices, not announcing the allowance for passenger transport services, charging an increase in the allowance for transport services and not announcing Allowance for freight forwarding services and seizing food samples.

In Tartous, members of the Directorate of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection organized rationing controls that affected a number of bakeries, with violations of selling at an extra price, lack of weight of the bundle, poor manufacture of supply bread, and a number of authorized persons, with violations that varied between violating the restrictions imposed on transporting subsidized goods and not announcing the price of the ration bread bundle.

The rest of the seizures also included violations related to a deficiency in the specification card, failure to mention the date of production, failure to adhere to weights, and failure to announce prices.

In Homs, during the past two days, members of the Internal Trade Directorate organized supply controls that included the violation of disposing of subsidized flour and the trade in diesel fuel and disposing of it through the manipulation of official papers.

It also organized 4 seizures for the violation of possession and displaying of unknown source materials for sale in a shop in the Akrama neighborhood, a shop in the Karam al-Shami neighborhood, a shop in the village of Abu Dali, and a factory in Ter Maaleh, and a seizure of violations of possession of expired materials within a store in the Inshaat neighborhood and another in the Al-Hamidiyah neighborhood and a shop in the Bab Al-Sebaa neighborhood A shop is in Bab al-Turkman neighborhood, a shop is in the town of Na'ara, a shop is in the village of Rabwah, and a shop is in the village of Bouaida Salamiyah.

The Directorate's personnel organized 7 controls for irregularities in the production and packaging of poorly-made food bread, in addition to 27 controls for violations of prices, bills, specifications, abstaining from selling, suspending the sale of a commodity on another commodity, and 5 controlling samples to ensure their conformity with the Syrian standard specifications.
