The German Ministry of Health has suspended the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine to treat the Corona virus, after its side effects were reported.
"The Paul Ehrlich Medical Institute, which provides advice to the government, believes that other checks are necessary after cases of blood clots appear in people who have been vaccinated in Europe, while several countries have already taken such a step," media outlets quoted a ministry spokesman as saying.
The number of HIV infections in Germany rose to two million and 558,455, after 12,674 new infections were recorded and deaths to 73,301, a daily increase of 239 deaths.
