This morning, the government approved the abolition of the limit of destinations to and from which flights will be operated, and as early as tomorrow, airlines will be able to operate flights from almost any country in the world.

Simultaneously with the decision to cancel the restriction on the destinations of direct flights, the restriction on the 3,000 arrivals per day will remain in place at least at this stage.
This means that a maximum of 90,000 Israelis will be able to enter the country each month.
This is a relatively high number.
For comparison, last December, during which Dubai was open to Israelis as well as other destinations, including Turkey and the United States, 100,000 Israelis entered Israel a month.
The decision to limit the number of people entering Israel is mainly due to the fact that the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Transportation want to enforce the issue of isolating Israelis returning from abroad, which will be more difficult in higher numbers.
