(CNN Spanish) -
This Sunday the Grammy Awards were held and in what has already become the new normal in Hollywood, the ceremony was held with social distancing and a limited number of nominees at the ceremony as such.
Comedian Trevor Noah was in charge of conducting the event, which took place on a terrace in front of the Staples Center in Los Angeles - the usual venue for the awards.
The Grammys also set up a room with several stages for musical presentations.
Bad Bunny won the first Grammy of his career.
The Puerto Rican singer won the category "best Latin / urban pop album" for his album "YHLQMDLG" (short for I do whatever I want).
Bad Bunny competed in that category with artists like Camilo, Kany García, Ricky Martin and Debi Nova.
Grammy 2021: women's night
Women had a special role when they triumphed in the categories of rap, rock, pop, alternative music, R&B, country, jazz, regional Mexican, American, folk, among others.
Beyoncé came in as the artist with the most nominations for the installment, nine in total.
The singer took home 4 gramophones and enters a special chapter in Anglo-Saxon musical history.

With the victories of this edition, Beyoncé becomes the female singer with the most Grammy awards won in the history of the ceremony, 28 in total.
One of the curiosities of the night is that Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, won her first Grammy at age 9 in the category "best music video" for "Brown Skin Girl", a song by her mother, Beyoncé, along with SAINt JHN and WizKid.
Rapper Megan Thee Stallion won best new artist and raised the Grammy for "best rap song" for "Savage" alongside Beyoncé.
Taylor Swift was awarded "album of the year" for "folklore."
This is the 11th Grammy the artist has won in her career.
Also, Swift becomes the first woman to win "album of the year" three times.
Billie Eilish was the winner in the night's biggest category, "Record of the Year," for "Everything I Wanted."
A victory that, according to Eilish said in her speech, Megan Thee Stallion deserved.
Eilish also won the Grammy for "Best Song Written for Visual Media" for "No Time to Die" from the new James Bond film.
The George Floyd Inspired Song
HER won the Grammy for "Song of the Year" for the song "I can't breathe", a song inspired by the last words of George Floyd and whose death sparked a series of protests in the United States and worldwide against the police violence.
«The song was born from a conversation.
We wrote it from the perception of our feelings and it became part of the movement (Black Lives Matter) and part of history, "HER told the media after winning the gramophone.
«I think this song will create a mark in time and people will think of this song when they think of George Floyd, when they think of Breonna Taylor, when they think of all these people that we are still fighting for and I hope it is a contribution to the movement, to continue the fight and give people hope, because that is what music does, "added the interpreter.
