Jeanine Áñez: Preventive detention of former president of Bolivia

A judge determined this Sunday preventive detention for four months for the former interim president of Bolivia Jeanine Áñez.

At the conclusion of the Precautionary Measures Hearing that lasted more than 9 hours, Judge Regina Santa Cruz determined this Sunday preventive detention for four months, in the Obrajes de La Paz prison, for the former interim president Jeanine Áñez .

For their part, former ministers Álvaro Coímbra and Rodrigo Guzmán must also serve four months of preventive detention in the San Pedro prison, also in the city of La Paz.

The prosecution confirmed to CNN on Sunday that it issued the formal accusation against Jeanine Áñez and former ministers Álvaro Coímbra and Rodrigo Guzmán for the crimes of terrorism, conspiracy and sedition in the investigation of the case called "coup d'etat."
