The Nature and Parks Authority announced today (Monday) that registration has opened for a visit to the nature reserves and national parks during Passover with a variety of activities and experiences for the whole family.

The Nature and Parks Authority will open to the public a wide range of activities and experiences unique to the whole family during the week of Passover in dozens of national parks and nature reserves throughout the country, from the north to the south.

In the shadow of the Corona and Purple Character Guidelines, entry to the sites will only be possible by prior arrangement through the Nature and Parks Authority website.

This is, among other things, in order to avoid unexpected tourist loads and crowds.

In this framework, travelers will be offered a variety of activities, tutorials and experiences for the whole family adapted to the guidelines of the purple character, including new visitor centers on the existing site and also four new sites that will open for Passover.

All of these are added to the many hiking trails in the nature reserves and national parks where you can hike at this beautiful and flourishing time of year.

The Nature and Parks Authority will place about 70 information and information stations at the entrance to the popular hiking trails in a variety of reserves and national parks around the country, where hikers can receive guidance and direction for hiking trails, a reminder of safe hiking rules and information on nature, landscape and heritage.

Bags for collecting garbage will also be distributed to travelers.

A particularly prominent and exciting experience will be the "Breathing Culture" project, which takes place in cooperation and with the funding of the Lottery, in 12 national parks throughout the country.

Hundreds of musicians, actors, dancers, circus artists, human sculptors, jugglers, opera singers and more will perform for me on a trip to selected national parks and provide visitors with an even more unique and empowering experience at nature and heritage sites.

It will also be possible to order a variety of night parking lots from the Nature and Parks Authority, where you can enjoy the experience of staying in tents under a starry sky, spectacular sunsets and sunrises, and a taste of the "night life" of Israeli nature.

The Nature and Parks Authority advises the traveling public not to wait with the reservation for the last minute due to the defined and limited visit quotas in the shadow of the corona.

At the same time, even if at a given moment the requested site is already fully booked / occupied at a certain time, it is recommended to check the availability again daily on the website and if places have become vacant, since there are usually cancellations of visits by travelers who have already registered.
