The future of Jeanine Áñez in Bolivia 0:59
(CNN) -
The Bolivian Ministry of Justice presented the State Attorney General's Office with four liability suits against former interim president Jeanine Áñez and her former ministers, the state-run Bolivian Information Agency (ABI) reported on Monday.
The accusations blame Añez and the former members of his cabinet for the "irregular and onerous loan" of US $ 346.7 million from the IMF, the "illegal extension of the concession of Fundempresa", the "violation of human rights of Bolivians residents in Chile "and" restrictions during the pandemic.
On Sunday, a La Paz Criminal Investigation judge decided to send Áñez to a women's prison in La Paz under preventive detention for four months while the investigations are carried out.
The Prosecutor's Office charged the former president and her former ministers of Justice, Álvaro Coímbra, and of Energy, Rodrigo Guzmán, with the crimes of "terrorism, conspiracy and sedition" in the investigation of the case called "Coup d'état."
Añez affirmed that such a coup "never" occurred and denounced a political persecution against him and his former officials.

Coimbra and Guzmán must also serve four months of preventive detention in the San Pedro prison.
This Monday they were transferred to the center, which is also in the city of La Paz.
On his Twitter account, Coimbra claimed to be a "political prisoner" of the Movement for Socialism.
«I go calm and in peace, my values and principles are not compromised or sold.
I believe in democracy, I will resist and I will win, "he says in the publication.
In statements from the detention center, Guzmán said he is "calm" and "confident" because in his opinion he has the necessary arguments to "get ahead."
Due process guarantees were met for the government.
Áñez was transferred this Monday from a police station to the Obrajes Women's Orientation Center (COF).
Media broadcast the operation.
